Our foundation's genesis was rooted in a profound desire to honor the memory of Raghbir, a man whose warmth and generosity left an indelible mark on countless lives. Kam, Raghbir's beloved wife, along with Neel, his cherished younger son, and Charnveer, his eldest, embarked on a heartfelt journey to create something meaningful. United by our shared love and respect for Raghbir, we sought to channel his legacy of compassion and goodwill into a force for positive change. Together, we established this foundation as a tribute to Raghbir's enduring spirit, aiming to continue his legacy by supporting those in our local communities who are in need.

Our mission at the Raghbir Riarh Legacy Foundation is to honor the legacy of Raghbir Riarh, who was a passionate advocate for community service and helping others. We strive to continue his legacy by supporting local initiatives and organizations that align with his values and passion for helping those in need.
One of our main focuses is supporting local women's and youth shelters in need. We believe that every person deserves a safe and secure environment, and we are committed to supporting organizations that provide shelter, support, and resources to those who are vulnerable and in need.
Through our fundraising efforts and community outreach, we aim to raise awareness and support for these organizations and their critical work. We are dedicated to making a positive impact in our community and supporting those who are most in need.

About Raghbir.
Raghbir Riarh was a man who made a significant impact on the lives of many people. He had a fun-loving and goofy personality that made him relatable and well-liked by those around him. He owned several businesses, including an Indian food chain restaurant called Lighthouse. However, he was more well known for his cellphone dealerships known as Wireless World and Foneshop where he had over 23 locations and 150 employees. He was highly successful in his professional endeavors, but it was his personal touch and positive attitude that made him truly memorable. Unfortunately, Raghbir passed away in 2020, but his legacy lives on through the many people he inspired and impacted during his 47 years.
Raghbir's success in business was not only due to his hard work and dedication, but also to the close relationships he built with his employees. To them, he was more than just a boss - he was a mentor, a role model, and a father figure. Raghbir took the time to get to know each of his employees on a personal level, and his caring nature meant that he was always there for them, no matter what challenges they were facing. His employees saw him as a guiding light, and they never wanted to let him down. Raghbir's legacy as a compassionate and inspiring leader lives on through the many people he worked with and touched during his lifetime.
Raghbir's bond with his childhood friends, Carl, Rimpal, and Gary, was unbreakable. They were more than just friends, they were brothers. Raghbir always knew how to make his friends laugh and was the life of the party. They shared countless adventures and created unforgettable memories that they still talk about to this day. One of their most daring feats was when they snuck out of high school and embarked on a bike trip from Abbotsford, BC to Victoria, BC, riding on the side of the highway. Although it was a risky move, they did it anyway, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences of their lives.
As they grew older, Raghbir and his childhood friends continued to maintain their close bond. They each got married and started families of their own, and their children became close as well. Raghbir cherished these relationships and was always happy to spend time with his lifelong friends and their families. He loved to reminisce about their teenage years and all the adventures they had shared. Raghbir's legacy not only lives on through his impact on the lives of those he touched but also through the enduring friendships he cultivated throughout his life.

Raghbir is survived by his loving family, including his wife Kanwaljit and their two sons, Charnveer and Neel. Raghbir was a devoted husband and father who always put his family first, and his memory will live on through the love and memories he shared with his loved ones. Kanwaljit, Charnveer, and Neel are dedicated to carrying on his legacy of kindness and generosity through the Raghbir Riarh Legacy Foundation, which seeks to continue his life's work of helping those in need.
As a family, they are deeply committed to continuing the impact that Raghbir had on their lives and the lives of others. Through their tireless efforts and the support of the community, the Raghbir Riarh Legacy Foundation has been able to make a meaningful difference in the lives of families in need, including providing scholarships to students who aspire to make a positive difference in the world.
